Is it spring YET?

This is the view from my kitchen window. In the summer it is the most gorgeous tree, but this is what I've been looking at for waaaaay to long. It's almost ridiculous now how many times we have woken up to snow in March and now April! Good grief, again?!? Every morning my kids go off to school without coats, because according to the calendar, they insist it is warm! After school the snow has usually melted, so they continue to pretend its warm and play outside, barefoot, until their feet turn purple. Then they come inside to grab a jacket (but still don't want shoes!)Yesterday Bailey took a picnic to the park with her friend, despite what I would call cold temperatures. We are all a little anxious for sunshine and in need of some vitamin D!
