Valentine cookies

Bailey loves holidays (just like her mom) and wanted to invite her friends over to decorate cookies. Bailey ended up getting the flu on Valentines and missing all the fun at school. She was sooooo upset, but I picked up her valentines from her classmates so she could read them in bed!

Look at me!

Avery said "Look mom, its a hat" as she put her diaper on her head. She is always making us smile!

Cade's 7th birthday

Cade wanted a jungle birthday party because he LOVES monkeys, tigers, cheetahs, etc. He has such a great imagination, sometimes I think he IS part monkey! We transformed our basement into a jungle with trees, vines, a waterfall, and croaking frog noises. Cade insisted on inviting his ENTIRE 1st grade class over to play, and we shot bow and arrows, jumped over the quicksand, went on a safari, and ate zebra cakes. It felt like we had a house full of wild animals! It was a birthday I don't think Cade will ever forget!

Eco-friendly outfit

This is one of those embarrassing childhood pictures that will definitely be on Cade's wedding video someday, heh heh! After his jungle birthday party, Cade and his friend were pretending to be "jungle boys" and made these outfits entirely out of recycled bags (????) I don't ask, I just take pictures!

My sister and me

Here we are in Moab- Would you believe Nessa just ran 13.1 miles? Yep she did, and she looks great! I was just there to cheer her on! (and to help her eat a big pasta dinner the night before!)

Nessa and I hiked to this arch at the perfect time- the sun was setting and I was so giddy about getting some really beautiful pictures, then I snapped this one, and my camera battery DIED. AAAARGh. So this is it. Looks just like the license plate! There were some foreigners at the base of the arch cracking a bottle of wine and having a beautiful moment in the sunset. . . .aaaaahhhh.

My sister and I were booking it to see the arch before sunset but I turned around to snap this picture of this couple holding hands and walking into the gorgeous sunset. (Wish it was a picture of me and my sweetie!!)
