Our Primary Bike Parade

Cade is now taking guitar lessons and LOVES to play for people. Bailey and her friends were sleeping out on the trampoline one night and Cade took this opportunity to serenade them from the deck. What a little Casanova he is- should we be worried?

Of course our summer isn't complete until we spend an evening at the county fair! It's been a tradition for probably 13 years now that Dave always has to have the infamous "Fair Burger" for dinner and this year was no exception. Dave said to me this year, "You know, this burger really isn't that good."

This is Bailey and Cade's first ride EVER on a ferris wheel. They were so courageous until it started going higher and higher, then we couldn't tell if it was excitement or terror on their faces. We couldn't stop laughing! I love experiencing things for the first time through my children's eyes- the anticipation, the exhilaration, and the pride in doing something you've never done before.
