Bailey starts planning her birthday about 6 months in advance. She's loves to throw a party for her friends and comes up with some great ideas. This year she wanted a backyard luau late into the night. I still can't get over how grown up she is getting, she planned the entire thing and I just supplied the money for it. She wanted me to take her shopping so she could pick out the flowers and decorations. She is going to take over my job as wedding planner someday and do a way better job at it!
She decorated her own birthday fruit pizza, picked out the color scheme, made invitations, cleaned up the patio, filled water balloons, and told me where she wanted the tables and chairs. She thought of every detail right down to the umbrellas in the drinks. She was a very gracious host and everyone had a fabulous time!
We played tiki music all night (sorry to the neighbors), roasted marshmallows, painted toenails, swam in the hot tub, had a water balloon fight, and danced and laughed a lot. When the sun went down we lit the tiki torches and had a light show in the hot tub. They are a great group of girls, and Bailey was so happy to be surrounded by her friends.

Love the hot tub! We may invite ourselves in sometime... What a great idea for a party, and just so you know, we didn't notice the music! Also, loved the pics of your trip. They are stunning-it looks like a beautiful place!
Oh, one more thing. I just read the host and loved!! it. She is so creative!
I can't believe how big she is getting. It is amazing, and she looks so much like you...not you Dave. haha! It looks like you guys are really having a super fun summer. Can't wait to see you on Friday!
So can I hire Bailey to help me with birthday parties? She is so creative!
