The finish line of the Bear Lake 1/2 Marathon, hallelujah. I look delirious. And I was!
I enjoyed all the early morning training runs with Candace more than the actual race.
Bailey got a new set of wheels for her birthday, and Avery learned to ride without training wheels. I wish I could say I taught her, but I was so busy at the time that it was actually Bailey and Cade who took off her training wheels and taught her. Isn't it nice to have a big brother and sister? Avery also turned her bike into a horse by duct-taping a horse head to it.

The best week of the whole year! Here we are celebrating our birthdays (again), and the 4th of July with a backyard BBQ with Dave's parents.
Boating with the Croney's on their super duper boat. We all learned how to SURF, which I didn't even know was possible before this day! What a blast! When you get really good, you let go of the rope and ride the wave. I love this picture of Dave surfing. He is naturally good at every water-related thing. He was up there doing tricks that no one else could do the first time he got up! He is one of the people on this earth who literally can make me pee my pants from laughing so hard. We had such a great time.
Cade has been riding his motorcycle and also went to camp Keisel with the scouts, which is like, the coolest day ever! Here he is feeling like one of the big boys going on a weekend riding trip with Dan, Zach, Petey, and his Dad.
Bailey is getting ready to go to the American West Heritage Center in this picture. She volunteers about two days a month, but wishes it was much, much more. She gets to take care of all the animals there, and even brought an injured duck home for a week to nurse it back to health. She has also helped serve at the tea parties. I love seeing her in her 1917 period clothing, it makes me wonder how different our lives would have been if we lived in those times.
Bailey is riding Snickers as much as she can. Here she is leading Snickers to water after playing a game of Polo with the 4-H Club. She is learning to jump and is waaaaaay braver than me! It takes guts to get thrown off a horse twice and keep getting back on! I have so much admiration for this girl.
Avery's "craft class" that is a bunch of mom's in the neighborhood who take turns doing a craft each week. At our house we read "The Little Red Hen Makes A Pizza", then made our own out of cardboard & toppings.
Up next will be my pictures from Alaska, as soon as I sort through them!!!

I was just looking at some of your later posts and noticed the dress up tea party at Grand America, and was wondering if you could give me some details about it? was it something you had to make reservations for? did you guys love it? do they serve you lunch? My Mom had been talking about doing something like this! Thanks chanelle!
What a fabulous summer! I loved running the half marathon with you. Lillian had a ball making the pizza, what a cute idea. Don't you just love summer? I don't want it to end!
Wow!! I guess I am not the only one who takes pictures and then never posts them. Blogging is so time consuming sometimes. :(

What a fun summer! I feel the same way I have a million picture that I just need to take the time to organize and write about . Including a little thing like Jazmine's birth. My kids are already going crazy with excited for Cherry Hill.
